If you mean keeping the country from moving to pure distribution of wealth, then I'm all for it.

Obama is such a Socialist the stock market is soaring, the private sector has added jobs every month for over four years and over 200,000 a month for six consecutive months for the first time since 1997. Damm Communist Muslin from Kenya.

The stock market surge is largely being driven by the Feds low interest rate policy. As for employment, the BLS doesn't paint such a nice picture of things: http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS11300000

Let's expand that out a little, shall we?

We're where we were when Reagan (PBUH) was president, which is still above historical numbers. Huh.

Besides, isn't the 1 worker household the GOP ideal?

It was on it's way up when Reagan was president. It's taken a very noticeable downturn since Obama became president.

I think you mean "in the post-Bush era."

What does that graph mean to you? Because other than the obvious part that less people are participating in the labor force it doesn't give any information that helps to explain why. There are infinite reasons both good and bad that could explain why participation is declining.

That's where republican apologists don't understand the tendency liberals have to bring up the Dubbya years. We might not be doing as well as we all would like now, but the free-fall has been stopped and we are at least getting better instead of rapidly worse.

which way the next 24 months' slope is a source of concern. We've had one major correction a few years back. If we get another one the Chicago Charlatan will become the lamest of ducks.
