    How is he authoritarian? Aside from using executive orders to go back on executive orders of previous administrations? I think you're thinking of the establishment GOP, whom if you haven't already noticed, hate Trump.

                I think the left/right aspect mostly changed in relation to the degree in which things were (now are) important to me, rather than the agree/disagree. A couple things I know have changed, the one that sticks out most is my outlook in regards to taxation policies. It's become clearer and clearer that the holders of capital lack the understanding of rewarding their workforce through better pay even when "record profit growth" was recorded for a number of consecutive years. The libertarian/authoritarian rating stayed pretty constant.

                          I guess I keep gradually sliding left on economics, without changing much over the past 5 years on social stuff. Once again this time, I forced an answer and didn't go "neutral" on any issues, but now that I've done this thing several times over the years, some of the questions are definitely pigeonholing BS. Like, "Sometimes war is necessary, even if we have to strike first." That's a garbage question.

                          Or "A person's morality is of the most personal nature; therefore government should have no involvement in moral questions or promote moral behaviors." What defines morality? If I personally believe I have the right to kill and rape people, does that mean the gubmint should have a say in regulating my behavior by outlawing murder and rape? Again, garbage question.

                          Or "It is a problem when young people display a lack of respect for authority." Is it wrong for a kid to question what s/he's taught? Not necessarily. But if my future brat acts like a hooligan and won't accept the consequences when they are caught, you're d@mn right I'm not bailing them out.
