We lost on Friday because there was no "Clarkson still sucks!" tag.

I will be at the field house tonight. Still very frustrated over last night's loss. We have to eliminate those awful penalties. I know we want to play physical, but you have to know where to draw the line.
And our PK was also awful last night. running all over the ice and leaving the points free for shots.
Tonight is a new game and we need all the points we can get. Stay out of the box and play inspired hockey.

        lets go red!!!!!!!!!

Out of curiosity, what's RPI's record in recent Freakouts?

....NCAA RULE IMPLEMENTED: The year 1987 was a turning point in the history of the Big Red Freakout! ... The opponent was Brown and RPI jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first period ... The Engineers went on to win the penalty-filled game, 8-3, but the reason for the turning point in the event did not occur on the ice ... The favor for the game was a stadium horn ... The combination of those horns and the number of past favors brought to the game caused an incredible amount of noise that it had an effect on the outcome of the game ... The NCAA stepped in and restricted the type of gift that could be given out.

SOLD OUT: Tonight’s game is a sellout, meaning a season-high 4,820 fans will be in attendance.

I wonder when the pep band changed the location of the Alma Mater. Anyway, it is correct now in post #2 of this thread.

Can't believe that it's been 37 years already. I've been to them all and I'm sure that there are a lot more of us who can make the same claim. A lot of great memories (the comeback against Clarkson, the blowout of SLU in '84 and the chants of Skid-More in the 2nd ever game against BC are some of them) and disappointments (the OT loss and the shutouts when the crowd wanted to explode, but couldn't are some). Looking forward to it again tonight. Let's go RED!!

the way this season has gone you could just as easily say, "so RPI has a chance"?

A memory that sticks in my mind goes back to when I played youth hockey in the mid 1980's. My family and I were coming back from a Saturday afternoon game (cant recall where), but far enough away where we couldnt get WRPI yet. When the station finally somewhat came in and the game was on, we could barely hear the announcers thru the static. All we could hear were the stadium horns over the air.
