Hey stupid. Union has 12 90's and 91's. BC has 1. Bc has 4 95's Union has none. They are an older team. So what.

          BC is always very young

North Dakota has 2-89's. Union none

Union is a typical D 1 school ags wise

sullivan, Carr,91 seniors means they came in as 18 or 19, Carr was an 18 year old freshmen. stevens, ghost etc are young compared to many.

age has zero to do with anything. hayes and arnold are 4 or 5 months younger than Carr and are both srs

          age talk is bs

Hey BC Fan - your facts are wrong, Dope

Here is a list of the average ages of all the NCAA DI hockey teams from College Hockey News. As you can see Union is down at the bottom, on the younger side along with many ECAC teams. So what? Below that is another list showing the youngest 30 players. While BC has an admitted a young team as evidenced by 4 of these "youngest 30 players", Minnesota actualy has more, 5, and you don't hear Minnesota fans whinning about age. You might also be interested to know that Union has zero of the oldest 30 players in DI College Hockey.

I didn't think that BC fans were cry babies. Maybe just you. Is this the excuse you will use if you don't take another national tournament?

good lord dutchman, take a pill and get a grip. take it up with buccigross or whoever it was that kept mentioning the # of 23 and 24 year olds union has. personally i don't like seeing these old freshmen but that's just my opinion. if that's what certain teams (not implying your beloved union) have to do to compete, so be it. being the youngest team in the country hasn't stopped bc before. it was a simple joke comment about union being the oldest of the four teams, which for some reason you went ahead and pointed out in your senseless tirade above.

end result is they are not old, end of story.

4 very good hockey teams and should be great hockey

                    this we do know

mn, bc, nd are loaded with nhl draft picks. mn has 14 alone on this years roster. Union has 1. mn has 14 times as many + on current roster than union has in program history. all 3 have 50 million dollar+ rinks, not so at union. all 3 have 18 dcholarships, union has none

those are advantages, not some bs "old team" fairy tale.

                    demko is the wild card

The good teams have average younger ages because the quality recruits they tend to attract usually leave early. I am surprised that BC, UND and Minn. have any seniors at all considering the # of drafted players on those teams.

looking at those numbers, no, they aren't old compared to the rest of the country. they are the oldest of the four. it was a simple joke/comment that some are making too much of. relax.

and since you brought up "bs", funny how you also mentioned no "scholarships"

Union has sold out their ticket allotment for the Frozen Four in less than a day. Anyone know what section we'll be in? I assume each school got one lower bowl section and one upper bowl section.

ltsatch don't overcomplicate it. the youngest teams (premiere programs) also get the best prospects who come in at an early age.

that my friend is not a joke. there are several full payers on that roster, 2 of whom had huge pts in regional championship game. They are very tough with aid awards,
People with zero information like to claim they givr everyone a ton of cash but the fact is they dont.

I know of a couple recent hockey east csptains who couldnt get in there and tried hard. their standards are legit. ranked higher than all 4 schols in forbes, us news and the other ranking agencies

to think they dont have a tough road with no scholarships is slightly below claiming they are an old team.
