It's not like it is the first time we have been called RIT, but putting it in parentheses besides Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute might be a first.

I think I will start calling Denver UD.

Reminds me of something great I read recently; "Ending a hockey game in a shootout to determine a winner is like ending a basketball contest in a game of HORSE to do the same thing. Just stupid."
Hockey is serious business. Everything else is just a game.

I think most DU fans weren't in favor of the shootout, but nobody asked us.
If you win the shootout they are fun, but if you lose...oh, never mind we haven't lost one.

And speaking of Randy Press and his hapless interns, posting the line ups before game time by the RPI crack staff would certainly be appreciated.
            GO DU !!!

You'll get our lineup a couple hours before game time. Those kids are still trying to earn wearing the uniform tomorrow. There will be posts on the score thread.

FYI, for the Denver fans not in the know, while it says "TV: None" in your game notes, you can watch the games for free, streaming, in HD on RPITV.org at game time.

Too bad about Hawkinson.....teammate of Jake Wood, Jimmy Devito, Riley Bourbonnais and (for 2 games) Parker Reno with Lincoln last year in the USHL.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Considering that Wood and DeVito won't be playing according to most reports, it isn't a good week for Lincoln alums.

Has it been confirmed that due to finals RPI-TV will have a limited presence, that is not the usual number of cameras?

                            They should have kept Prapavessis.

                            BTW, neither was 1865.

question......would it had been better for MP to be playing on a bad USHL team (Lincoln) or with the leading team (points wise) in the OJHL?

He's probably better off where he is this year since it is a step up from where he played most of last season. Assuming he isn't in Troy next year, I hope he is in Lincoln or somewhere else in the USHL.
