Connor Clifton was also drafted by Peterborough (OHL) in the 4th round of the priority draft. Keeping him away from major juniors is the key.

I don't know, did you see that save Meyers made on Rand?

Lots returning, but lots of experience moving on. They can be good next year, probably not this good though.

The Rouleau kid is supposed to be the real deal as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rand go back to a rotation like he has in prior years.

If they can build on the offensive side of the equation, they can be as good as they were this year. Defense is what carried us. What we lose there has to be replaced by scoring. I see the Jones boys and Peca having a monster year next season and JST is going to be a beast. St. Denis' season of experience can only help him improve as well. That's a pretty solid foundation to build on.

Or by Connor Clifton and Fiala who are top two defense recruits. What may suck is losing Clifton during the season to team USA like other schools have with USA players.

No surprise on Hartzy signing with Pittsburgh. They have been on him for weeks.

That's great news. The rumor was Philly also wanted him, but that's where goaltenders go to die. Glad he's not going into those shark-infested waters.

Mark, as for your last comment, anyone else think Matthew Peca has a chance at Hobey consideration? I can see him having an absolute monster season, especially with the winter to get bigger and stronger.

He'll need to be really filthy with goals. Like has been said numerous times, Hobey likes goals. If he has the type of season he's capable of, he could get some recognition.

Starting in 3 weeks the Bank is undergoing 3 million dollars worth of the renovations to upgrade to scoreboards to HD boards in both arenas. Also heard they may be covering the plain concrete walls with glass to make the building look better.

Assuming UAA/UA_ is one of the tournaments, you'll be having 14 NC games this year.

I count 11 right now though I think they may be throwing Bentley in there to bring it to 12. Alaska games are not a tournament I belive. 7 NC games with Hockey East teams plus 2 games in Alaska vs. Anchorage and Fairbanks plus likely two in the UConn tournament.

It would be either Kendall or Brice if you're playing UAA and UA_ in Alaska. Those are both tournaments. They designed it that way so the teams travelling would assuredly receive the exemption. Since you are playing an Alaska team in Alaska, it does not count towards the 34 limit.
