Ouch. That side of the bracket basically comes down to Murray and Federer now, right?

and the carnage at Wimbledon continues....

on the men's side, Isner and Tsonga retire.

On the women's side, Azarenka retires, and in the battle of the shriekers, Larcher de Brito leads Sharapova 6-3, 5-4. If this match were held in the USA, OSHA might require that earplugs be dispensed!

Did the sound system at Wimbledon play "Rains of Castamere" this morning?

Andy Murray has challenged Serena Williams to a match in Las Vegas. For his part, Novak Djokovich has said he would be happy to play Maria Sharapova anytime, anywhere she likes. For the record, I would be willing to play with Ana Ivanovic anytime as well.

                      Serena is out too.

Losing after getting ahead 3 - 0 in the third set, too!

                        Sabine Lisicki (GER) [23]

                        will face

                        Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) [4]

in one side of the women's semi-final draw.

Otherwise, looks like Sloane Stephens will continue soon at 4 - 5 (1st set) Deuce game, after a 2 and a half hour rain daily.

Not quite out for USA, yet; merely out of the singles draws.

                            Bryan brothers advance to semi-finals 7-6(5) 7-6(3) 7-6(4).

If they can manage a win they will be Golden, holding all four majors plus the Olympic gold medal.

Right, I should have been more specific.

Andy Murray is going to have to dig himself out of a two set deficit in the quarters.

                                Verdasco leads 6 - 4, 6 - 3, 0 - 1
