I'm not surprised Djokovic won as this is his best grand slam venue and Nadal's worst, but I was surprised when I saw that he ran Nadal off the court! Yikes. Read that Nadal has never lost a final in straight sets, and he was playing really good tennis leading up to the finals.

How about that women's final? Looked like Osaka had it in hand, then she gave up 3 championship points in the 2nd set and looked to be breaking down. Impressed she found the mental strength to dig back out and win it.
Nick Kyrgios threw another temper tantrum today.

Have you been on Twitter? There is a big difference between a grand slam final and early rounds of a masters 1000. Not to mention Kyrgios was somewhat in the right. If people are causing a disturbance they should be kicked out. Serena got busted for cheating then questioned the umpire’s integrity. Two completely different situations.
Down goes Serena to Sophia Kenin in the 3rd round.

Top seed and world #1 Naomi Osaka lost to 42nd ranked Katerina Siniakova.

Thiem vs Nadal for the French tomorrow.
Also learned today the French is the only major now without a final set tiebreak. Aussies now have a 10 point tiebreak once it reaches 6-6, and Wimbledon has a traditional tiebreak once it reaches 12-12.

12 titles is somewhat impressive
Rather impressive for ONE championship.
Mookie equates with golf and Jack has the most, but his single most is 6 masters. To have 12 titles from one major is something else.
Funny to think what Federer would have if he didn’t have to face Rafa in the French. Thinking it’d be more than his single victory

There has been a lot of smoke. I saw a tennis reporter allude to what I assume was Nadal(it could have been someone else) juicing the other day as well. For me the most ****ing evidence was pictures of him when he was 18. I’ve been told, and it’s my own assumption, that most of the top players are up to something. It’s hard to believe they could train as much as they do without some help.
15 year old Cori Gauff has just defeated Venus Williams 6-4, 6-4.
