  • “Both of these players were passed over consistently and put in the stands to watch games while Brady Berard played in 34 games with a goal and two assists.”

The above is part of a Zlax post from 3/18. So if it was wrong to play him in every game in 22/23 how does that support...

  • What a good sign about the recruiting going on at PC. With over 70% of NHL players coming from North America there could be a number of high draft picks in the above group of PC skaters this June. I assume international players will absorb a proportionate number of picks, and that some surprise picks...

  • Thanks to PK and Charlton for their input and grace in not dignifying Zlax's attempted slander which would only make matters worse.

Zlax improperly conflates an egregious case in which a different hockey player perpetrated a disgusting prank on a developmentally delayed young kid. Evidently...

  • The article PK provided is a comprehensive recap of the positive things that Trevor Connelly has done to address the mistake he made over two years ago when he had just turned 16. Imagine any of us doing something similar before the age of social media when it would have never been broadcast for consumption...

  • Thanks for posting this PK. I can’t think of a better landing spot for Connelly than PC. The coaching staff cares about academics and character building so will meet whatever challenges there might be head on. I hope we get to witness a generational level talent playing here, if so it will be...

  • No self reflection required I guess Zlax. Ask yourself, “why am I posting on the fan forum for PC”? Is it a wonder why you are reviled on this site - as another poster said, “what a Richard”.

  • Look Zlax, instead of casting dispersions on other people as is your persistent mo, maybe seek some redemption for yourself. You might find the effort to be kind instead of cruel could help you more than you think.

  • Sounds like a high character player coming as a senior transfer from Colorado College which is now coached by one of Nate Leaman's former assistants, Kris Mayotte. According to Mark Divver he was a team captain for his last two years and that team has done very well during his captaincy. My assumption...

  • I am surprised I forgot about him. Was actually at an early season game he played in at Holy Cross in 2018 when David Berard was the head coach. He was injured in that game by an end of game totally unnecessary dirty hit. That created a brief heated verbal exchange after the game between the coaches....

  • That would be an interesting version of the line that BC rolled with this year. Then another strong line with Yoder, Malinoski and Poisson or Mustard perhaps. A lot of capable offensive skaters to mix and match.

Speaking of history, Connelly scored 4 points for TriCity last night with 2...

  • Almost all of course.

But yes, I for one am very pleased with the returning seniors and the mentioned two newcomers. In addition, it looks like the freshman trio of Adams, Malinoski and Gamache will be back. Hopefully several of the other incoming freshman will be solid contributors on...

  • Actually Bennett Schimek was 6th in scoring, the top 5 are returning per the announcement earlier today. Once I saw Will Schimek in the portal I assumed his brother might join him, that's a pretty big factor conveniently left out by Zlax. Will was one of the few players with virtually no playing time...

  • Not what I thought at all. My guess of the sequence was the opposite. That Dad was getting the job and wanted the dream opportunity to coach his son. But Brady is not nearly as good as Brett was so he might find that getting an offer from a higher end program is not going to happen. Could end up at...

  • I did notice that, great scoop PK!

What a challenging rebuilding job for David Berard, but he seems to be a true gentleman and will probably do as well as anyone could in such a difficult spot. While I am guessing he would be glad to have his son on his new team, I am not sure that is what...

  • Disappointed to read that Jaroslav Chmelar has signed with the NYR and leaving after only 2 years at PC. I suppose his decision was influenced by the accidental skate blade cut that occurred at U. Mass Amherst in November. At that point he was leading the team in scoring and looked ready to achieve...

  • I assume it was the coaching staff, however, mine was a positive post about a way to reduce transfers from players that want more playing time right away. This response is like Zlax posting that Yoder scoring the winning goal in the great PC win vs BC on 1/13 was the coaches fault. Maybe it was, but...

  • More whack-a-mole with Zlax just like last year, the year before that and downward. There is aways some hidden flaw that he reveals from his Wizard of Oz perch. When you look at other posters on this fan forum who are critical and disappointed with their teams, (coaches or individual players), there...
