I’ve been told Hastings can just pluck anyone off the street and get wins, so we shouldn’t worry about this.
I saw on X that Lucius might be going to Arizona State…...

The talent at the frozen four is just insane. Absolutely loaded teams.

I’m happy about the direction of the program. I’m just hoping that we can build on this previous year next season. It would be nice to get an NCAA tournament win for the first time in 15 years. I’m feeling less certain about it with the transfers, but there is still time to fill holes....

Russo covers the Wild, but also has been doing more national stories, so it wouldn’t surprise me either way.
I do think people need to stop with the “it’s okay if we never have a draft pick again” talk. Really? So if we go back in history that would mean no Caufield,...

Agreed 100%. My view is very similar, but you worded it so much nicer than I did lol. I am amongst Minnesota fans (Wild and gophers) on another hockey forum every single day. So I'm used to fighting tooth and nail and ribbing to defend any sort of position I hold. I apologize if I come off as extra...

That’s because the newest iteration of the transfer portal is barely three years old and players are just now starting to use it in droves. In a crazy world, this would be perfect for a guy like Mike Eaves whom could never break the four year cycle.
I have no problem with 20-22 year...

That’s exactly my point! Why didn’t they leave last offseason? Why are they leaving *now*? Why isn’t he targeting bigger fish in recruiting?
How you continually show an inability to comprehend what I’m saying is truly outstanding. I didn’t say he was failing...

You’re not listening to what I’m saying. I have no problems with Hastings as a coach. I would appreciate some level of development from the young players he brings in. Do people not realize that Hastings has a reputation for going after older players because he is either unwilling or unable...

For a university that should be second to none, this has been extremely disappointing. Will Hastings even be able to pull in a Heatley or Reinprecht or Suter or McDonagh or Caufield?
I hope when Hastings gets his guys they have some level of loyalty to the program. Going through this every...

Look at you, changing your stance now that the top dawg left.
I’ll be shocked if we are decent next year at this rate. Go pull 7 24-25 year olds out of your hat Hastings! We obviously can’t retain skill....Last edited by digitalbooya; 04-08-2024, 04:52 PM.

Carter Wilkie would be huge. 41 points in 40 games this past year. 54% faceoffs with over 1000 taken this previous season....

Did Silye have extra eligibility? He’s 25 year old. Probably would be the oldest player in the NCAA if he returned....

“Selfish.” There’s that coping language again to downplay losing a great player like Whitelaw.
Minnesota should have won last year. That wasn’t a player issue, but definitely a coaching issue (who doesn’t start Faber in OT in the most important game of the...
