I obviously have no rooting interest for any team in this Frozen Four, and I appreciate the fact the ESPN is broadcasting the games, it got a bit old yesterday with Bucci and Cohen screaming, from about the end of the first period on, WHEN IS BU GOING TO GET A POWER PLAY?!?!

I thought I heard them say before the first game that there were NCHC, B1G and ECAC crews on hand, which makes sense with two HEA teams in the Frozen Four. Logic dictates that they would save the ECAC crew for the title game, if those were the three they had....

Yeah, I was wondering about this. I was looking at Chris Heisenberg's recruits page the other day and I noted that NMU had something like 13-14 recruits listed as possible for this year. When I saw the portal stuff discussed in this thread, I started wondering to what extent a lot of this is just...

WMU is a strange team. I think they rank in the top 10 or 12 in both offense and defense this year. Their advance stats are dynamite. I watched them play two games at North Dakota and thought they were the best team I'd seen this year. I think the "expected goals" in those two games were...

More than anything, it's bad losses. WMU didn't have any, CC and St. Cloud did.
St. Cloud played 8 of 10 out of conference games against CCHA teams, a pretty terrible conference, and went 4-4. Colorado lost at home to Augustana and went 0-1-1 at home against ASU. Those are killers, especially...

And the extra 10 days gives him a chance to pick up a handful of Powerball tickets....

I still don't think the numbers are that unexpected.
For series records since the inception, and ignoring 2020 when there were no playoff games, and 2021 when it was just single elimination at the Ralph, we see this:
#1 - 8-1
#2 - 8-1
#3 - 5-4
#4 - 6-3...
