Well technically he has been assigned to "other duties" which include advising Davenport on WHCA issues. So could be potentially be around till his contract expires 2013. Still pulling down that Six-figure salary in the meantime.... I'll bet.

Could he be the next commish of the nWCHA?

Will he do the same for Mankato that he did for Tech? Give him double the previous coach's salary and he still won't get you home ice. Sounds like a deal to me.

And he will easily win the same number of GLI games!

Your best guess to estimate the number of days until Troy Jutting is on the ubnemploymeny role.

Should be 1, but I will guess it is 366.

Buisman, please do the right thing, it is hard to let him go, but you have a chance to make MSU the new power of the WCHA, Let Him go tonight. If nothing better available (and there are many better avialable), let Darren Blue coach the team.

Jutting can't collect unemployment, wages earned in regards to athletics are not usable wages for Minnesota unemployment. Third to last question on Unemployment Insurance application, "Were you paid to train or participate at any sporting level; such as a coach, athlete, or referee?"

They're going to make him show up every day to get his pay.

Agreed. No chance in hell he coaches next season.

I honestly can't believe it happened. I really didn't think the MSU administration had it in them.

Was anyone else shocked to learn he was only 40 games under .500 at Mankato? That's only a little over 3 a year.

If Don Lucia keeps winning like this year or close to it he isn't going anywhere.

Wanna bet?

I've heard rumors of Mike G taking over, and tDon being some sort of front office for the B1G Mistake. Rumors, mind you.

Exactly, MSU has always had a lot of out of conference success. Just not so much in the conference.

I think it somewhat cruel to put this out on April Fool's Day, and I think it weird to put it out on Sunday. It couldn't have kept another day? Really?

GFM <-- only saw a little of Jutting, but understands why Mavs fans hold him in low regard.

With the reorganization of the western leagues for 2013, maybe the WCHA should hire Jutting as the Supervisor of Officials. It is something for which he seems to have a passion.:D

Hahaha.....could you imagine the backroom conversations he would have with officials? It would be classic.

Hopefully some of them will finally be happy. The whiny nature of many of the posts was getting beyond ridiculous.
