We'll see if they can surpass their semifinal hiccup they've been stuck with for a majority of the past seven years.

2006- SUNYAC semis loss to Plattsburgh
2007- SUNYAC semis loss to Fredonia
2010- NCAA semis loss to St. Norbert
2011- SUNYAC semis loss to Fredonia, NCAA semis loss to Adrian

All I can remember was the year SNC was in town and how disappointed I was that Oz didn't get to play them...

I believe that it was SNC-Amherst in the finals. I was also looking forward to the SNC-Oz match up.

I believe that was 2008 because I remember two years in a row the winner of the Oswego Tourney was the national champion.

The Oswego State basketball team has lost in the SUNYAC semi's two or three times in the last several years so maybe it is an Oswego thing.

Have/were they the #1 seed in the tourney? Note: It looks like they were last year

Yes they were the one seed last year. They also hosted the semi's and finals in 2009 as the three seed when the top two, along with the four seed Buffalo State, all lost in the quarters. They lost in the semi's to the eight seed and eventual champion Brockport. That year they beat Brockport by 26 points in the regular season at Laker Hall, then beat them by three in Brockport, before losing the semi-final game by 14.
