      Aesthetically, the MacNaughton Cup is one of the best looking trophies in all of hockey (except for the SC).

                Agreed. The MacNaughton is arguably the most difficult trophy to win in our sport, and the Gophers were wire-to-wire winners.

                      Was at the game tonight and that place erupted after Schmidt's goal, wow. Was great to see the MacNaughton back in Mariucci, been too long.

                      I think we will fare much better this year over UAA, this team will make it to the X.

                        The Gophers have one 1 NC about every 10 years since the WCHA started - the odds are stacked every season MacNaughton or not.
