I thought the NCHC had the inside track to holding their tournament at the Xcel?

They'll put you at MSG, since you're a big time conference and all.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

So let me get this straight... "Neutral ice" in the backyard of one program, somewhat far from another program, and prohibitively far from the rest of the programs.

If true, it's a farce. Of all the locations one could consider... St. Paul? Are there no hockey rinks in, say, Chicago?

It sounds like they plan to move it around. St Paul first then maybe Detroit, then Columbus, Milwaukee, Pittsburg,....
Don't get your panties in a bunch.

p.s. If this IS the case, then UM and MSU get the advantage that Detroit would host twice as often as any other city.

Seriously, if it's this big of a deal, play it at Joe Louis Arena, but keep it In a current BTHC market.

I can completely understand his argument tho. If it were in MI im sure many of us would have something to say about it? I dont know, the X is really **** quick to getting these, maybe they're greasing some pockets? I like it

I agree with this, f-chicago! Until they decide to go BIG, no way, i'd rather it rotate around to the BIG cities and keep the money in those locales..

I wouldn't mind of it was at the Joe. I just want it to be in a current BTHC market.
