      5-3 UMD

      Final
How do they expect us to throw hotdogs at the gophers with that [Expletive deleted] net in front of us?

Tumd played really well in the third, but live by the sword and die by the sword, someone is going to burn you on connelly floating like that all the time.
sure he gets a lot of goals but his buddies so far have covered up for his lack of defense. Still you beat us, so congratulations.

Well that was interesting. Connolly is a very special player. Good chance to win the Hobey. He also provides at least 70% of UMD's offense, when he's on the bench it's a whole other style of play. The rest of the team was able to play enough defense to hold off the much deeper Huskies when it mattered. Good job by the Huskies to not retaliate for the most part.
I was annoyed by the 5 or 6 brainless meth-addicted North Dakota transfers who parked their morbid obesity right under the (open) press box and tried to drown out the national anthem with "home of the bulldogs" crap. There's a place for that trash, it's not in Michigan. Shut up and go home if you can't spectate with any class.
Huskies are very intelligent and trainable. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Grooming is minimal; bathing is normally unnecessary.

Either you weren't watching very closely or this weekend was an exception. UMD is far from a one line team this year. Check the national scoring list. Your conclusions are unfounded although I agree that Connolly is very special. Oleksuk and Brown are very special as well and they are only on the ice with Connolly on powerplays.

tUMD played well, but tMTU stuck with them until the penalties struck... gotta score on the PP more too... all and all, stuckinwi is happy he drove home to watch the games, tHuskies are much better to watch then he can remember in a long long time... He was not happy with the roads back to Wisconsin though. No fun.
MTU Hockey fan since I was carried to a game in 1986 - for those counting... that's a lot of depressing hockey. Still love it.

Surrounded by Badger Red in Wisconsin. Such an ugly color, but the beer and cheese are delicious...

I wouldn't put much stock in the words of someone who thinks Tech has more depth than tUMD. His comments and his username are clear indications that his eyesight isn't too good.

                            • Biddco had a blast in Houghton as always. He enjoyed doing snow angels on Fridays intermission challenge. A misfit was able to enjoy 10 dollars worth of seafood.

Tech played very well but UMD proved too much. Keegan Flarety had a great weekend. For a guy who seemed to have offensive snake bite his whole bulldog career he had a hell of a weekend. Tech gave multiple break away for UMD. Anyone with a greater hockey strategy mind who can enlighten Biddy would be great.

                              Jack for Hobey please.

Love seeing this team on such a role! 10-0-2 in our last 12. That is something special. Longest road undefeated streak in UMD history. Just awesome. And here comes another number one ranking. A nice footnote that is a small reward for all the hard work this team does

This team is very experienced. They never panic, just play their game and win.

Oh man that was bad. We always do that and that time the arena was quiet as a pin drop. We sat there because we love the back and forth with tMistifs. It is just an added bonus that we can be heard on the radio. Biddco is happy that you insulted NoDak people and not us. Although none of us are morbidly obese.

Speaking of your class comment .. You should tell that to the misfits who threw a chaw bottle, stole our flag (almost twice) and flicked us off on multiple occasions.

One thing tPB has never been accused of is classy. And we like it that way

If you were among those idiots, just be happy if you escaped town without a fractured skull after that ugly opening act. A little mild harassment after that is nothing to complain about. You have no idea how many veterans were in the crowd. Like me, they were a little too easy going to walk all the way around the arena just to beat you idiots senseless with their canes, but the idea did come and go. And you didn't notice, but the ushers in the Mac are all ROTC cadets. I was sure you'd end up with at least some broken arms. We need to be less polite in future.
Think about it: 2600 people had the decency to stand in silence with hats in hand for the whole 3 minutes or whatever it took. 5 pathetic losers didn't. Grow up.
