Welcome back for another season! Like the past few years, I will post a list of games and you pick the winners! 1 point for correctly picking a win, 2 points for correctly calling a tie. Exhibition games will not be counted. You picks must be posted before puck drop to be counted. I will post results ASAP after each weekend, but it may be delayed.
There is one game this "weekend":
Tuesday October 4th
Niagara @ Michigan.
Good Luck!

Why don't you make it interesting? Establish a favorite (in this case Michigan). Then the guys who pick an underdog who actually wins gets twice as many points as the guys who pick a favorite to win. In some cases you declare no favorite. By keeping it simple this way and not establishing a real line, you stay away from any accusations of gambling.

While both schools have exhibitions over the weekend, Michigan plays the US Under 18 team the night before as well. While they will probably use a lot of the bottom tier players I can't see them allowing the Under 18 team the chance to beat them. Could be a tired Michigan squad late in the game. That has been Niagara's downfall time so it could possibly mean something late in the game.

This is an interesting idea - we could do something like: if less than 25% of people chose the winning team, the ones that did pick that team get twice as much...any comments/objections to this? there is no money involved, so its not gambling, right? :p

This is for fun and no money exchanges hands so it would not be gambling. I think it would be interesting to try out for a season.
