I like the idea of rewarding people who pick against the trend and win.

They do get rewarded; when the favorite loses, all those people who picked the underdog get a point and everyone else gets no points.

I know these exhibitions mean little but Michigan got beat by Ontario IT 3-2. The same Ontario team that was beaten by Queens 9-5. Niagara outshot Queens 62-10 enroute to a 7-2 win. Let's see if we can win over any more Niagara fans. Burkholder really likes the depth on this years squad. Go Purple Eagles.

I think awarding extra points would be too confusing, first because a percentage must be verified and secondly it is difficult enough to keep track of the winners alone. If a percentage is chosen I would say less than either20-25%, which without checking is about where the Niagara-Michigan figure probably is.

Also eliminated the duplicate entry on Saturday for RMU-Mercyhurst. Easy to see how it was put in twice as the second night opponent of either AHA team.
