Interesting that Colorado leads the tournament field with three teams this year (ahead of more traditional producers MI, NY and MA with 2 each) and joins Nebraska, North Dakota and Indiana as the only states to have all of their D1 teams qualify. Great year for the Centennial state!

It is easy to have all your states' teams qualify when you only have one team.

I was referring to North Dakota, Nebraska and Indiana.

Talk to me when you have more than 5 total Coloradans on all combined Colorado teams.

Not so much. Just one of the oldest, most tired talking points that gets tossed around on here.

DU has 7 Coloradoans on their roster. Only 1, Jon Cook, doesn't really play much.

Nice :D

I assumed there was less.

Well good for Colorado. Will a team from Colorado win a game?

Well, it is interesting that other hockey programs have CO players on the roster, to include many outside of CO, yet CC recruits very poorly in-state. Either in-state recruiting is bad or in-state players choose to go elsewhere. What's your take?

Will a team from Minnesota?

Better chance than all three Colorado schools combined.
