Larocque of UMD was the other 1st team d. Rougeau of Cornell and Ward of BU were the second team d.

Re: d1 First team all Americans

Interesting to contrast this with other award results:
-- Knight beats out Stack here, Stack beats Knight for Kaz 3 (I can see how each might be more suitable for one honor or the other)
-- Decker makes All-American, did not make Kaz 10 (ok)
-- Bendus makes Kaz 10, does not make All-American (academic considerations likely a difference, fair)
-- Irwin makes Kaz 10, does not make All-American (thought she was borderline Kaz 10 due to her injuries, so not too surprising, but she is not the remaining Kaz 10 forward I'd have dropped)

        Other comments
-- I thought Raty clearly had a better season than Schaus, not counting last week (I do believe the voting was before). Whether Raty had a better season after depends on how much weight you want to put on that one game.
-- I stand by what I've said that Johnston had a superstar 4 Nations Cup that benefited her for these awards, but had fairly mediocre college season.
