At his graduation ceremony from the U of Minnesota, my cousin got a keychain. When asked what UW gave her for graduation, my sister said, "A degree from a University that matters."

I think Baggott said in his article that Eaves wasn't planning on bringing anyone else in, but things do change as we all know. Maybe Eaves is miffed at Linaker for not waiting the extra year he wanted him to and then verballing to PSU.

Definitely leaves a big hole at Center. Dahl is the only returning player who saw significant time at center all last season. Lee played there some, but at some point Turnbull moved into that role and never looked back (after being given the chance). Zengerle certainly has experience at center and I would assume he moves to top line center at this point. LeBate is a center isn't he? Lee? I think Barnes played center in Waterloo too. Maybe Meuer or Lapic can center the 4th line.

That is going to hurt early in the season, probably going to be the revolving door of line combos for the first month(s). Hopefully a guy like Jason Clark takes this opportunity, should be looking at a spot on one of the top lines, and runs w/ it.

Well Gandalf you have some good points, here's what I got for line-ups for the first couple a weeks.

                Forwards
Barnes-Zengerle-Mersch. All Sophomores but probably our best scoring threat.
Clark-Dahl-Lee. Very small but very good, can see lots of goals.
R.Little-Labate-Navin. 2 deadly Freshman that can light the lamp.
Meuer-Lapic-Woods. Line could be shakey but may stay strong.

Paape, Hartzog, S. Little. In at a moments notice.

                Defense
Schultz-Simonelli. No doubt our best defenders.
Ramage-McCabe. Jake can learn a bit from fellow USA player.
Faust-Daly. 2 youngsters that can do good.

Springer-Drake. Eric needs to show he belongs in the line-up, and i have never seen Drake play.

                Goalies
This is a toss up as to who we see in the net with all 3 on scholarship. But for now I see...

                Rumpel
Peterson....Joel and Landon will split time the whole season.
Thompson. Could see a few minutes here and there.

                Feel free to comment.

I don't really have a comment on changes, but looking at this, if there are no early departures next season beyond Schultz, the 2012/13 team will be THIS again, just a year better along w/ Kerdiles and Zulinick. That brightened my day.

I'm pacing myself. I just need a big enough supply to be ready for the first NCHC - BTHC party a little over two years from now. Saving the real pointy ones for the likes of you.
