Another crucial factor would be Columbus's depth of goalies in their farm system.

would love to have Great Laker Mohawks take on the depth chart at Goalie for the Blue Jackets.

IIRC, Garon is an UFA at the end of this season http://forecaster.thehockeynews.com/...hchart.cgi?CBJ
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

That lists two rookie goalies ahead of him in the system (in addition to Lenny), which hopefully is a positive for us keeping AY.

There is no reason to start this discussion until the off season thread starts.

What would be so bad about potentially a part six?

Not bad. This season is not officially over until it is over (Credit to Yogi Berra for that one).

It's also not over until Hokymom sings.

Glad to hear they're still going strong. Not sure what to expect, but if we do make the tourney we could easily be the most rested team there. Hard to say whether that would be a good thing or a bad thing. Maybe RPI and Union can scrimmage against each other while everyone else is in AC next weekend to prepare.

This morning I awoke with a strange feeling. At first I attributed it simply to gas. But as I thought I realized that if we do indeed make the Tournament-even as the number 15 seed-we could make some team miserable. We always seem to play to the level of the competition-so why not expect us to do that against one of the top 4 teams in the country? I am not ready for this season to end for our boys and I am sure they want to play some more. Besides, this team could use a little trip.

It would also be nice to go to a regional that starts on SATURDAY, not that other day of the week.

                              (oops, back to lurking)
