Kind of a gateway drug recommendation, here, but you do have to go through/past Portsmouth NH to get to a bunch of games.
Sitting here suddenly and completely addicted to the spicy nut brittle from the Portsmouth Brewery, downtown Portsmouth NH. Peanut brittle meets chile peppers.
Stopped in to get a couple of bottles of the house brew (growlers) to go & thought I'd take an order of the brittle home.
It's gone.
Don't know if it's on the regular menu, but it should be!
Point of order: Couldn't find the "Snack Bar's Closed" threads, so please feel free to add your recommendations/warnings for road trip food here. Or point me back to those threads ... all good.
