    What is the story here?

      I am still deeply concerned.

        I don't know if I would take the word of a guy that was confounded as to why the EZAC was ridiculed and looked down upon when they "aren't better but aren't worse" then the other big 3 conferences...

          why would someone bother to start this thread

          The NCAA is a lousy organization that must be run by very very old and angry men who impose rules aimed at ruining the lives of young men. They have no interest whatsoever in the wefare of the student athlete-they are interested in money only. They make billions by exploying free labor and making sure an athlete doesn't get a ride to the food kitchen when he/she is dying of hunger. So they disqualify kids for absolutely no good reason.
          Happlily they made the right decision here. Who on Earth cares if this young man played in France for a year. How does that "poison" the amateur nature of college hockey. I am concerned also--that anyone is so mean-spirited as to question this kid's right to play a sport he loves.

                        The only schools that are "exploiting" free labor are the Ivy's.

                        Most of these kids are getting $200,000 worth of scholarship money.
