Re: Merrymack skating circles around Boston Collage
Federal League wins.
Did anyone else get this invitation from Merrimack athletics in the mail today?
Dear Friend of Merrihack Athletics,
Our hockey team has already accomplished so much this year we've begun planning festivities for next year's opening night on Friday, October 14, 2011. We're hopeful you will make it. As a long-time supporter of Merrihack hockey, we'd like to invite you to the game and we will be giving away replicas of our 2 banners (hopefully 3) to all fans that enter Lawler Arena.
"Beat BC twice in the regular season!"
"We can compete with anyone!!!"
"Road win vs. a team in the top 50% of the NCAAs RPI ratings"*
*if applicable.
We do hope you can join us on Merrihack Banner Night in North Andover, MA.
Save the date!
Sincerely,
Merrihack Athletics.Originally posted by Greg Ambrose on 3/7/2010The fact that you BC fans revel in the superiority of your team in an admittedly weak league leads me to believe you will be more sorely disappointed when the end comes than we will.

OK, so I type a letter in my AOL mail, hit send and the person I send it to receives it. It's free, and I can add a smiley face to my mail if I like. How ya gonna beat that?'Eavesdropped the BC forum in USCHO. A range of intellects over there. Mostly gentlemen, but a couple of coarse imbeciles' - academic_index, a Brown fan
