If there's a rivalry and no one cares, does Tech still suck?

The radio show intro's use of a Brett Olson goal is almost mocking, in a way.

The addition of L'Esperance means Heinonen moves back to the third D-pair.

              Russell:

-Due to exams, only Thursday practice was mandatory
-Alan L'Esperance added due to the injury plague
-Previously skated with some team members over the summer, excited to get the call

-Rolling the top two lines mostly, with Holmberg and MacLeod being inserted as necessary
-Physical fresh, mentally "we'll see where they're at after finals week"

-Rix was good on faceoffs at UNO
-Helped with puck possession in the Friday game

-Nielsen "not 100%" but feels better due to time off
-Puck luck, bounces, "need a good Christmas present going into break", etc. etc.

A little back and forth, no major scoring chances so far.

                    Northern gets the first SOG.

Sova runs into the partition at the end of the Tech bench.

The usual boring mid-season game between these teams so far.
