One game on the docket today and it's actually a pretty big one.

MSOE looking to gain full control of the MCHA and improve to 6-0 on the season.

Marian looking to salvage a split of the weekend and keep it a three-horse race between Adrian, Marian, and MSOE.

Game starts at 4 p.m. (Eastern time of course)

Go Matt Bergen!! (FHL Points)

Any updates on the MSOE and Marian game today?

I tried to find a webcast or live stats earlier, but I couldn't. I guess we wait for the result.

Yeah, no webcast from MSOE, and Marian's website seems to be pretty close to useless.

Two years ago Marian had a webcast, and I think they pulled the cashier out of the local Walmart to do the PBP. This girl had absolutely no idea what was going on. I'm not sure she knew which end of the stick to hold. After listening to that, I was convinced that somewhere Harry Carey is spinning in his grave at light speed. Now I know why they don't webcast.

Live stats would have been nice, though.

Per Marian's website:

MSOE 2
Marian 1

The *Raiders* are FOR REAL!

Maybe. You-know-who still has 4 games left with them.

Looking at Marian's schedule, had they swept MSOE this weekend, they were off to the races in the MCHA.

Maybe Adrian will have to worry about someone else this year.

Webb and Hammer have been preaching it...the MCHA is starting to get very competitive.

MSOE, Adrian, and Marian are all legit top-15 caliber teams right now.

Lawrence and Finlandia aren't slouches either from what I've seen/heard/gathered.

Uhh, Finlandia still has issues. They lost to Concordia yesterday. Perhaps you mean Lake Forest?

Who are the Engineers?

Dammit. I always think MSOE are the Engineers :o:(

Who are the Engineers?

Michigan Tech. And judging by the D-1 board, I don't think MTU fans are in any kind of a good mood right now.

Ah. I was thinking RPI.

Well, them, too. But it's more entertaining to watch the Tech fans.

OK, I take back what I said about the website being useless - that's just the Marian hockey website that USCHO has linked.

Their REAL website (sabreathletics.com, found through the university website) is very nice....

Anyways, box score:

http://www.sabreathletics.com/custompages/Men's%20Hockey/2010/mhock8.htm

MSOE outshoots Marian 42-31, per the box score.

Or Clarkson :D

Or Clarkson :DRPI are the Engineers in hockey, Red Hawks in all other sports (figure that one out). Clarkson are the Golden Knights, as opposed to St. Norbert who are the Green Knights, or the St. Joseph Regional (NJ) Green Knights.

The Real Georgia Peach

Or the St. Mike's Purple Knights
