  • Atlantic City or Bust: Princeton Tiger Hockey 2010-11

While not an official game, Princeton won against UQTR last night in a pretty good display of hockey. This is a good sign, since Dmouth had to go to overtime with them, and they still have a shot at Cornell this weekend.

Mike Condon looked better in goal than Reynolds, so hopefully he'll start this year. There were also flashes of brilliance from some rookies, which will add some much needed depth.

Dartmouth scraped by UQTR in OT and Cornell won 6-3 in a decisive but competitive game. It doesn't tell us much, but it suggests Princeton should be competitive against pretty much any ECAC team if they remain consistent. Bodes well for opening weekend in the Ivy Shootout.

On a related note, it's pretty crazy that we will play Yale at least 4 times this season. Possibly 5, 6, or 7 times depending on how the ECAC Tourney works out... or even 8 times if both teams made it to the Frozen Four Talk about a rivalry!
