As has been mentioned in the Face-Off thread, CanAm was holding a big tourney in LP, which I'm sure drew the attention of recruiters...the Cornwall Colts (the bantam B's) took bronze. http://www.standard-freeholder.com/A...aspx?e=2826505

I remember a video of the Dubuque/Des Moines line brawl being posted here a few weeks ago but I dont recall seeing a full game highlight video posted. At the 2:24 mark of the clip it shows the BRO's first ever USHL goal, not sure if the crowd is booing him or the DBQ fans there are saying "Luke"

The Saints front office signed a "hammer" forward to help the BRO protect the studs in DBQ's lineup...Joe Bueltel 6'2 200 late of the Wisconsin Wilderness of the Superior International Hockey League (don't forget your mouthpieces boys...)

Saints AC Coombs: "...Some guys have been taking liberties with some of our skill players, and he will address that aspect."

Bueltel: ..."I like to work the puck down low and hit a lot. And, if I need to get the team going or I need to protect one of my teammates, I'll drop the gloves."

S-F article re: Colts signing D-man Blunden (6'1 200) to help hold the fort while RPI targets the Spink twins and others are away at WJA's in B.C. Blunden's line is: 3-13-16 in 15 games.

The Green Mt. Glades continue to struggle with"uninspired play" going 0-1-1 vs. Apple Core this past weekend, including a 9-2 loss.
RPI prospect/target goalie Dalton Izyk went 14/18 in 25 mins. in the loss. He bounced back to go 25/27 in the 2-2 tie.

His line (Ralph will verify :-) ) is now 3-5-2, 1 SO, 3.10 GAA and .911 sv%.

Do I look like Heisenberg? Seeing as how he was toiling in the prestigious SIHL, I'm guessing that Michigan and UW are still fighting over him...
