It won't. Nothing will happen this offseason unless a BTHC is announced and the CCHA and WCHA have to respond. I don't foresee that happening this summer.

Nowhere near what ATL had. Overpasses and high-country roads had problem, but it wasn't an issue for surface-streets in general.

Yeah, we had a few problems over here. Over 900 accidents. When the wife finally got home (50 minutes to go 4 miles), she said there was a cop blocking off our the main road past our s/d, told here to go park on the first street (before our s/d) and then walk home. She ignored him though and made it to the house. A lot of people did not. Abandoned cars all over the place.

5hole - As Geof said we pretty much had no problems. The only thing I saw was a little ice at the very top of Monte Sano which I traversed coming home last night. That's the highest point around here. I was surprised that all of the elevated interstate freeways were clear. They sanded and salted the mountain and opened it up a couple of hours after they closed it... around here if you say the word ice/snow they close the mountain and elevated highways.

Green Mountain, Monte Sano, and Whitesburg Bridge were the closure areas though how much was closed I can't say. Though sections of other roads, including Cecil Ashburn, were closed for a while as the sand trucks did their jobs. Worst we had was on our front porch since the composite material it's made of glazes when it gets wet and cold, far worse than real wood. I expected them to close Memorial like they typically do, but I don't think they ever did. We got far less than expected.

Having grown up farther north it didn't bother me much and I was out and about in the afternoon. Granted I hate this far more than actual snow. Freezing rain, as Atlanta found out, is nasty stuff and we're better of not getting it.
