Sadly, Cornell won that game 8-2. http://cdsun.library.cornell.edu/cgi...-20--1-----all My recollection is that RPI lost to BC and Cornell, tied BU, and then won all the rest of its games.

That is how I remember it. Although I had thought we had BU beat until they scored a late goal.

          RIP Dale

For you old guys: remember the gentleman that stood on the ladder at each end of the ice snappin photos. Had to get over the fence at each end to get "the shot" He was freelance but his hockey shots always made the Record. He had some great photos. He was a cool guy.
          RIP Billy DePhillips
The Hearns goal against Cornell is my favorite RPI memory of all time. Yes, Watson did set this all up with the late goal to tie it against Dryden.
Your reference to the guy on the ladder brings back a very foggy and distant memory of it but I do not remember him well. I do, however, remember the fence around the rink before the glass was put in.

Interesting walk ons. Aside from Stanton, Romanchuk plays for the club team and Flory was an all-state 100 goal scorer for his Pelham (NY) H.S. team.

WRPI doesn't list it on the schedule, so my guess would be no. WaP will have live tweets from the field house: http://www.***********/without_a_peer

Also interestingly, they still list Brutlag as a defenseman.

Maybe he will play D for tonight just so coach can check out the other forwards to see what he has.

If Brut played forward, each team would have 9 forwards, 4 defensemen, and I assume the goaltenders would rotate around.

Who knows then why he is listed as a D man. Guess we will find out in a couple hours.

Matt Tinordi is listed as 24 years old. Is that correct?

I was asking myself that question as well when I saw that. The RPI athletics website has his birthday as Nov. 9, 1985 so I guess he is 24. Wow crazy im going to be 26 in 3 weeks and have been out of college for 4 years.
