Good start to the season, but now the real season begins! Great to see freshmen involved in scoring last night!

Lowell game is crucial to start HE season off right!

Maine comes in at #7 in the USCHO poll today. I'm anxious to see how Sirman plays against Lowell.

So gleaning from the article, the third line on Friday will be Shemansky-Mangene-Beattie, and Andersson will play on the 4th line with two freshman, which I assume are Corkum and Anthoine.

whatever

Very simple question, but the Time Warner Cable webpage freezes up every time I try to find out if "CBS College Sports" is on their list of channels for Portland, ME. Can someone give me that answer? Their website is horrible and I don't wanna go there again.

Priceless

What about Amestoy, he was probably the best freshman forward in Sunday's game?

Was he? I believe you, I wasn't there. :) We're pretty deep it seems to me.

So do you think he has the inside track to playing Friday over Anthoine or Corkum?

I don't, but I liked his play. He is aggressive, very quick and throws what little weight he has around.

Nice. Four good lines again with some interchangable parts.

Like Shemansky and Mangene paired up. That combination could cause people problems with the energy they bring.

Actually think Beattie could be an impact player on that line. He is younger and has more of an upside. Glad to see he picked up a goal and is back with Mangene and Shemansky.

Everything I read about Amestoy tells me has the most potential over the course of the next 4 years. Anthoine, Amestoy, Andersson may be the call with Theo centering. Otherwise Corkum or Swavely centers. Can't believe it's hockey season, but also look forward to seeing them on the tube vs. Michigan State and No. Dak before I see them at BU.

I've gotta make it to a game this year. And not the weak-a55 5hit they bring to Portland.
