On Thursday, the Cornwall Colts defeated the Brockville Braves 2-1. Jacob Laliberté had no points or penalties. http://pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=1318609

Laliberté's line is now 10-10-7-17-6.

Brockville must have done a good job against him. He is still at a goal a game though.:)

But he is under his 2.2 ppg of last year :( , not that 1.7 is bad. :)

Wednesday's Cornwall game with JL's hat trick http://www.standard-freeholder.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2791455. I hope that we are seriously after the Spink twins.

Thursday's game with no mention of JL http://www.standard-freeholder.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2791040

Is there any reason to think that we are after them other than the discussion on this tread?

It was reported in the SF that SA talked to them outside the locker room a couple of weeks ago.

In fairness, he did say his goals for the season were for him to round out his game defensively and for the team to have success...:p

I have to think SA will get them to Troy for a visit as soon as he can...

They would fit in nicely here-and partially fill up our recruit list in a real hurry:)

That makes it a little more realistic. Do you think they will come as a pair?
Have they ever been broken up before?
They sure would look good in Cherry and White. :D

I think that they will come as a pair. They were drafted by different teams in the CJHL, and Cornwall traded to get whichever one they didn't have. It was a long-running saga in the Standard Freehodler. :D

They did a video interview either in training camp this summer (or last season..not sure) and mentioned a previous coach's decision to play them on different lines ...they described the outcome as " not good"... :D I will be very surprised if they do not play together in college.

I heard it as well and that BC was his first choice from the get go....the lad is looking to uncork some whuparse on BU. I bet Parker choked on his chowdaah when he found out... :DFWIW, USHR is saying the most heavily involved schools trying to get VS besides BC were Vermont, UNH, Northeastern and RPI.

As usual, very glad to see us mixing it up with the big boys.

Ralph, do you remember who first said that we were in on the VS sweepstakes?

Ralph and all, disregard my previous posts. Just read that Vinny is going to BC. I am a little surprised, I really thought he was headed our way if he went to college. Oh well.

Boy, Captain Jack really pi**ed him off. WS, you're right he is going to open up a can of whoop on BU. Again, thought Monty might steer him our way.
