Re: Is the CCHA the ECAC of the West?

Our conference has faced many challenges recently. Although it is tempting for our conference to retire to spend more time with its family, it will continue to compete in the national arena. Our conference has no other comment at this time.

Welcome AspyFan! I agree with you, the officiating in the ECAC is atrocious. Unfortunately, the CCHA officiating is not nearly as bad.
Your last sentence if only valid if you are a CCHA team. Those GLI refs last year were the biggest homers ever.

Why can't RPI ever benefit from homer refs? (That was a rhetorical question.)

Is the CCHA a better all around conference than the ECAC right now? Yes.

Why do I get the feeling that this CCHA/ECAC thread is about to turn into an HEA-style flamewar?
If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

Are you arguing that there aren't CCHA teams that used to be in the WCHA and that there are Hockey East teams that used to be in the ECAC? Try to be less ******** next time.

PC was never in the ECAC. We burst spontaneously out of Lou Lamoriello's head in 1984.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
