From DU Game Notes
OUT OF ACTION
Senior forward Dustin Jackson (moneucleosis) is out this weekend, while Nick Shore (wrist) and William Wrenn (hamstring) are questionable. Jackson and Wrenn missed last weekend’s series at Vermont. Shore played the season opener against the Catamounts on Oct. 8, but didn’t play on Oct. 9.

Its been a long climb up the recruiting rankings.
2000 was a breakout year for recruiting (James, Caldwell, Berkhoel, Dora, Keith, Laatsch, Bull and others)
2003 landing Matt Carle was a significant milestone.
2004 was DU's best class in recent times Thomas, Stastny, May, Mannino, Paukovich & Dingle
2007 Landing Bozak who in no time became the best player in college hockey
2008 Landing Colborne & Wiercioch and keeping them away from Major Junior teams that were hot on the trail.

Re: All Things Denver, XXVIII
DU's newest recruit Joey Laleggia had two more big games on Tues. & Wed.
Joey LaLeggia continued his hot play with a goal and an assist much to the pleasure of the crowd of 1,342 fans who pass through the turnstiles on Wednesday. LaLeggia leads the Vees with seven goals, fifteen assists, and 22 points in 15 games.
The Penticton Vees have the best record in the BCHL.

Re: All Things Denver, XXVIII
Denver Post is now reporting that Denver's Nick Shore has a broken wrist and likely won't play this weekend.

He was the third line center, so this is going to force the Pioneers into some line shifting...

As for the Pios, encouraging start to the season. Hopefully Murray can be consistent this season and the Pioneers can fill the holes left by Rhett and Tyler. 3 points on a weekend in a hostile environment is nothing to scoff at. Well done Pios!
Big test this weekend, I think it will be a split.
