      I wish people wouldn't even bring in his ability as a player. It has nothing to do with it. I would wish him gone whether he was a 3rd string practice goalie or an All-American, and this kind of behavior damages the program no matter who he is. Ugh. This off-season has just sucked so much.

              This whole thing is stupid. Just goes to show how the media and society have enabled us to consider who is at fault and who is the victim without even receiving a verdict. I'm not saying he's innocent, because he's probably not. But I'd wait for all the information to come out before throwing him under the bus.

                  Oh, shut up. He is not the victim here. So what if his girlfriend may also have yelled or pushed him? It doesn't make the way he behaved right! I mean, this is so basic it's not even funny: two wrongs don't make a right.

                        Granted, Mitch doesn't play much...but he came down here to go to school. Barta found him working at JC Penny or something and asked if he wanted to walk on. The kid didn't even have a scholarship. I don't count him with Coole and Kronick.

                          Exactly, he wasn't here to play hockey, he didn't leave UMD and decide to play for us, he decided to go to school.

                            How many SCSU players have taken the step down to play for UMD? They just skip that step and go straight for D-III.

                                Well he wouldn't have won twice in a row no matter what he was wearing. The bunny ran into the same issue. Although the bunny appears to have other issues as he ran afoul of the law this year.

                                Mitch Ryan left UMD because he was unhappy with his playing time, not because he found St. Cloud's educational quality vastly superior to UMD's. But whether you choose to count him in the same category as Coole or Kronick doesn't change that he is a hockey player who played for UMD, left, and resurfaced at St, Cloooud.
