A guy with over 33,000 posts on an internet message board with a personalized huskey jersey with his uscho handle on it telling me to get a life. Classic.

You dressed up as SpongeBob to try and win free Final Five tickets.

The good news is if scsu continues their trend of taking our retreads this kid anf hjelle will be huskies in 2 years. We know staffne will fit right in with sterns county and the local Superman.
Taking your retreads seems to be working. We finish ahead of you in the standings every year.

Hey, I love watching everything horrible happening to tUMD's hockey program and Duluth in general, but I'm not gonna pile in on this one... just a crappy situation and I really hope what we think happened didn't happen, and if it did, that he never sees a college hockey roster.

I am sure most UMD fans feel the same way. The situation is a little easier for the UMD program and fans since the guy wasn't exactly a great player. If it was a top recruit something like this would really hurt. As is stands the guy most likely will never make it on campus and soon everybody will forget about him.

FYP. :o And aren't 90% of women asking to be physically assaulted? Or was that rape?

We would have to ask Sloegin about that but I'm going to assume from his previous posts that Sloegin thinks the poor girl begged to be beaten and dressed up for the occasion.

Well, he did succeed.

Mitch Ryan is working out well for you, no?

I wish people wouldn't even bring in his ability as a player. It has nothing to do with it. I would wish him gone whether he was a 3rd string practice goalie or an All-American, and this kind of behavior damages the program no matter who he is. Ugh. This off-season has just sucked so much.

Yep, he's taking his education here and going to Med School.
Worked out fine. :)

I suppose that's better than choking it away at midseason like Lucia does. :p :)
But hey, think of the positives...at least Schroeder didn't leave at midseason like Okposo. Although if you look at his points for the season, he kind of did. ;)

Ahhh it's always nice to see Happy back in the BOX.:)

This whole thing is stupid. Just goes to show how the media and society have enabled us to consider who is at fault and who is the victim without even receiving a verdict. I'm not saying he's innocent, because he's probably not. But I'd wait for all the information to come out before throwing him under the bus.

You haven't been on here long enough. Soon you'll be as cynical as the rest of us. We don't have time to WAIT and see verdicts, we've got posters to make fun of!

Hm, yes, great for him, but not my point, sir.

Oh, shut up. He is not the victim here. So what if his girlfriend may also have yelled or pushed him? It doesn't make the way he behaved right! I mean, this is so basic it's not even funny: two wrongs don't make a right.

He wasn't at SCSU to play hockey, he had to be coaxed by Barta into even talking to Motzko about the team, so his "hockey career" here doesn't matter.

Look, Rabib, the whole point was that Tipsy McStagger made a point about our sloppy seconds. I know you're not smart, but I thought you'd be able to deduce that for yourself. The lower bound of your intelligence has not yet been calculated, evidently.

Step away from the keyboard and put your wife back on.

Granted, Mitch doesn't play much...but he came down here to go to school. Barta found him working at JC Penny or something and asked if he wanted to walk on. The kid didn't even have a scholarship. I don't count him with Coole and Kronick.

Exactly, he wasn't here to play hockey, he didn't leave UMD and decide to play for us, he decided to go to school.
Anything we got from Ryan was gravy.

How many SCSU players have taken the step down to play for UMD? They just skip that step and go straight for D-III. :)

Well he wouldn't have won twice in a row no matter what he was wearing. The bunny ran into the same issue. Although the bunny appears to have other issues as he ran afoul of the law this year.

Mitch Ryan left UMD because he was unhappy with his playing time, not because he found St. Cloud's educational quality vastly superior to UMD's. But whether you choose to count him in the same category as Coole or Kronick doesn't change that he is a hockey player who played for UMD, left, and resurfaced at St, Cloooud.
