Can we hockey fans use the English Language also?

Describe your team, or nemesis, in short words of rhyme, limerick, or a common sayingÖ Iíll start with UNH, where I have season tickets.

UNH
Always the Bridesmaid
Never the Bride
The reason for that
Theses boards canít decide
Is it Umile
or is it Borek
But as for me
I just want to see them check

Read the picture.

(It's a "common saying" among Cornell hockey fans, anyway.)

Does it say "Always lose to UNH in the NCAAs"?

Oh, it's about your nemesis, not your team.

Nevermind.

There once were some fanboys from BU
About hockey most don't have a clue
Dreams of going to school on Comm Ave
Admittance from BC they did not have
How does their coach survive? His liver's brand new.

Honestly, not one of your best efforts. I was expecting better.

Are Haikus allowed?

I don't see why not. It certainly displays good use of the English language.

I know, did it quickly... a little busy here lately.

Truth be told, you guys have been pretty good lately.

Chestnut Hill University.

Since, technically speaking, BC is neither in Boston nor is a college.

I'm up for gallows humor:

There once was a team from Houghton
Who thought scoring goals was verboten
They sucked without pretense
And as for defense?
'Twas worse than watching the "Axe Men"

If it's not in Boston, why was the Globe writer crying about BC not giving money to the City of Boston??? :p

Whenever i think of the gophers
I rememeber the smell of my loafers
They're from the cities
and play like ninnies
Lucia's talentless band of gypsies.

Jesus H Christ, do we need to go over this again. Parts of BC ARE in Boston. Including Conte Forum, Alumni Stadium, and the almost all of the rest of lower campus.

Aren't parts of BU in Brookline?
