I usually am able to bet on college hockey at Caesars, but it doesn't appear that they are taking action this year. Anybody know whichcasinos are taking action?

I thought the only college sports that had bets entertained were football and basketball. However, if college hockey bets are entertained, I wouldn't be surprised if the Atlantic City casinos try to get in on the action for next year.

I saw an article that said the Hilton in Vegas had odds on the 16 teams winning it all, but nothing game by game. You might try there, or the Mirage.

I laid bets at caesers on march 16th.????

Surprisingly, they were taking NO futures action on the celtics. If you have the cavs to win the east and they end up playing he c's in the conf finals, YOU WIN regardless. If the c's make the NBA finals, whichever team wins the west is declared NBA champ as far as harrah's goes. Strange

Ah, thank you for the info; I would have thought they could make a pretty penny on that with the ECAC's coming to town. Is Vegas the only place that allows sports betting? Other than the ponies, that is.

StrangeThats not true....if you bet the Lakers to win the NBA championship and they lose to the Celtics....I guarantee they will not pay out the Lakers pick of winning championship.

The whole business of the Celtics being OFF the futures board has to do with the fact that one of the Harrah's executives OWNS a a SMALL piece
of the Celtics. FWIW I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago and "invested" my entire
3k blackjack win on OVIE and the CAPS (at 4 to 1) to win the CUP.;)

YES.THEY.WILL.

it is printed as such on paper. "if the celtics win the pro basketball championship, the team playing them will be recognized as teh team with the best finish and would be considered the winner for wagering purposes."

That's interesting. The Palms doesn't allow any NBA betting because of the Maloof's stake in the Kings.

I don't believe this is true any longer. The Palms wasn't allowed to take NBA action due to the ownership of the Kings but that was due to the NBA's Board of Governors prohibiting them from doing it. I believe they changed that back in 2008 and they now do what Harrah's does w/ the Celtics.

No Celtics action at any Harrah's properties
No Kings action at Palms.

I don't understand why AC doesn't allow sports betting but I know it's been long discussed and debated.

I'll be curious if that will change in hopes of getting more $ into NJ now that both PA and Delaware have table games legalized and coming in. AC is taking a beating with the economy and all the slots in PA as it is and it's going to get worse.

Check out Bill's too (the old Barbary Coast). It's right on the main drag next to Ballys and diagonal from Bellagio. They always have the NCAA hockey futures so they may have the tourney games. And when you place a bet, ask for a free drink ticket. You heard it here first.

I was able to get a $10 bet on Wisconsin back in November at 18:1 at I think Harrahs, or maybe Imperial Palace.
