Welcome back to the Final BC after 1 year away.

Welcome back to the Final Maine after 5 years away.

Go Eagles!

Well done by both teams tonight. Amazing how Maine has come together since dropping two to UMass and suspending Darling. Still think BC wins tomorrow, but Maine will have that desperation level knowing they're 60 minutes from moving on...

Very similar to last year with one team already in and another team's run to the final.

If you watched the room Maine gave BU in the 3rd, then you have to think BC is going to smoke Maine. Anything can happen in 1 game but I think BC's speed kills Maine's D. Willie will have to be the great equalizer

It really is nice to have Maine back at the Garden. Dang, they had at least 50% of the crowd in there Friday night, maybe more. And they're pretty gawdam loud! Welcome back Maineuhs.

That being said... I hope you get your arses kicked Saturday night. :D

Maine definitely has their work cut out for them. BC is a damm good team overall, great 1-2 goaltending punch, fantastic PK, and solid PP. Maine has to come ready to play in all aspects for 60 minutes or else their screwed. Anything less is a loss IMO.

So excited for this matchup. I'm happy to see the Mainers back in the Garden as well - their fans were (as always) the class of the conference tonight.

I hope to see you heading home unhappy, though. :)

Just like everyone is saying Maine needs to play like they played in the first period against BU all 60 minutes. They did battle back and fight the adversity of BU's 2nd goal. I thought the energy was sucked out of them. The way the other conference tournys are going the lower seeds are knocking off the higher...who knows what will happen

Remember the Dimitrakos goal? We have to get them back tonight for that game;)

Should be a close game tonight

Looking forward to tonights game. If both teams come out and play like they did last night it should be one heck of a game. Maine will need to play a full 60 minutes and limit the chances that they give the faster BC squad. BC is the more talented team for sure, but in a 1 game scenario, you never know. GO BLUE!!!!

Ditto that. Given the boring Vermont style of play and the very limited number of Vermont fans, the first game was a bit of a snoozer for UNH fans; in contrast, the second game, particularly the third period, was fun to watch. Maine has great fans!

And that said, go BC!

Maine is a scary team with great talent and playing inspired hockey. They have a few players capable of taking over the game, and they will definitely have a stronger crowd than BC. The Mainiac's come out of the woodwork for these games. It's still tough to think they will beat a BC team that has been playing great hockey for the last month. BC's confidence is peaking at the right time (broken record with Jerry York's teams), and they look like the real deal. Different lines have been coming through with production and it's as balanced a BC team I have seen in some time.

The final game will be more of a nail biter, but BC will prevail 5-3 with an empty netter.

BC deserves a congratulations, as they kept fighting off Maine. I don't think they trailed in this game. Heck, did they trail at all this postseason?

But hats off to Maine as well. An excellent championship game with an unfortunate ending.

Congratulations BC. I have to tip my hat off to Maine as well. To come into Boston & play the way you guys did all weekend, knowing that your regular goaltender had to miss out.. (because of whatever) & just battle through that decision. Great effort. Wilson played just about as well as he could have.. given the time & experience factor for him. If Nyquist was to stay in your program nxt season.. i think you guys might be back at the Garden.

G'luck & i've said it before.. i'll say it again..Timmay ain't all that bad :)
