Yeah, but when and where are you going to be using this gun?

Going to the Frozen Four?

Nobody has ever been shot in Detroit!

Alright, how 'bout you an all your WCHA teams stay home? The rest of the nation will be just fine without you.

Should be pretty easy since Frattin plays in North Dakota.

Actually...the hockey team plays the girl's swim team in a game of water polo each year. Granted, it's not real water polo as it's more people trying to drown each other and throw the ball as hard as they can at the goal. Not something I was used to seeing and hated watching it. Played water polo and swam all 4 years in high school (that's what led me to ND from Oregon).

The NCAA should have followed international tradition and moved the games to Rio. At least y'all will get shot and robbed while looking at incredibly attractive women.

My team is out of consideration, so from this point forward there are only 2 teams I do not want to see: NMU and Mich. I am already upset I have to watch them this weekend at the Joe. I don't think there can be a "worst tourney". I would be curious to see how this thread held up if it wound up Denver/Miami/BC/Wisconsin. I am a college hockey fan. I will be at the FF all weekend, for everything, no matter who plays. Just enjoy the hockey.

Wow, and to think I would have enjoyed a Tech/Sparty match-up.

Every team that makes the tourny deserves to be in it. Just because Minnesota, Michigan, and the other big schools arent in does not diminish what every one of these 16 teams have earned.

UAH is in because they earned it. They won the games they were supposed to, its not their fault Beminji cant close out their season by winning two games.

No, they won the games they needed to.

Things aren't looking too rosy for the NCAA Tournament this year.

3). The top two seeds in the Tournament, Miami & Denver have small fan bases.

4). Traditional powers Michigan, BU, Michigan State and Minnesota had their worst seasons in at least the last three decades.

I'm four pages late, but these assertions are just plain misinformed.

The only way things could be any worse is if they held the Frozen Four in Detroit.

And this one is awesome.

Ford Field is in Detroit.

Whoosh?

Plus he loses points for being straight ahead. You gotta make a bigger splash than that.

1) This has to be the worst. post. in the history of human communications.
2) :gif link: YOU FAIL AT INTERMAPS
3) Yeah, um, the last time I checked, Ford Field was IN Detroit, a55hole.

And so on. This is the internet, man! Don't be only clueless: be a d*ck!

PS: dggooodblat: Yes, the Worst. Ever.

Things aren't looking too rosy for the NCAA Tournament this year.

1). Pairwise has been tweaked and re-tweaked so many times that perennial cupcakes Yale, Bemidji and Ferris State are locks to make the tournament.

2). Alabama-Huntsville, perhaps the worst team in history to lock up an automatic berth is in.

3). The top two seeds in the Tournament, Miami & Denver have small fan bases.

4). Traditional powers Michigan, BU, Michigan State and Minnesota had their worst seasons in at least the last three decades.

5). NCAA Tournament Trav/Mockery St. Cloud State is flirting with a #1 seeding.

6). The under/over for attendance in 70,000 seat Ford field is 18,000. Does anyone really think that 18,000 will show up?

The only way things could be any worse is if they held the Frozen Four in Detroit.

So in Men's basketball with no UNC or UCONN in their tourney, does that make it the worst ever? So a top 5 record for BSU means they are a cupcake? A win over #1 Miami, a sweep over UMD, a home and home series, 3 points at NMU, who may make the tourney, 14-3-1 in conference play makes them a cupcake? Why should traditional powers always be in? Is it a birthright? I love it how there could be 3 teams in Minnesota makings the NCAA's and one of them isn't the U! I'm a Beavers fan, but i love that they made the tournament, gives a good stink eye to the CCHA, especially if they bump out a CCHA team from making the tourney. If you had an issue with the NCAA giving the CHA a auto-bid, you could have talked with them about it, but what is done is done, be happy the tourney is 16 teams, and not 12 like before. Huntsville went 13-20-3 in the '06-'07, made the tourney, and i believe took ND to multiple OT's. The only thing i can agree with in this thread is that Ford Field was a bad location to hold a Frozen Four, much less an NFL football team ;) ...Should be at the Joe, to stay in Detroit. Also, have i really heard that a future Frozen Four will be in Tampa Bay?

That's the worst idea I've ever heard in my life.

Yes, this is horrible, this idea.

You really heard that. 2012 to be exact. Only two more years to dread it.

...If Alaska makes it, how many 'students' will they bring? 10?

Maybe not students, but donít underestimate the media machine that is Sarah Palin. :)

Maybe we can get permission to suit up Levi, and even get Bristol into a cheerleading outfit. Throw in a moose-burger tail gate party and our traditional chuck-a-wolf at period break, and the NCAA will be in hog heaven. Ford Field might not be big enough.

The sad part is, the activities above are more probable than us making it to the frozen four. :(
