The DU vs. BC & DU. vs. Vermont games this season were sellouts with electric atmospheres. I think that DU would draw better attendance if they played in Hockey East.

DU has always drawn 25% of its student body from the East Coast and Lax is our second biggest sport.

Nothing official yet on the Lowell side, but I haven't heard anything about MSU coming in next year. I have heard MSU-Mankato would be in Lowell for a pair. I wonder if the Lowell visit to MSU was a one way deal. Hopefully MSU owes Lowell a visit. There should be an update on the schedule on the next (Tue.) UML Hockey radio show.

I agree 100%. Many of the DU posters here at USCHO went to high school in the East and came west for college/DU. DU would be great in Hockey East and in the Patriot League in the other sports DU plays....

it'd make as much sense geographically as Air Force in Atlantic Hockey, plus we'd finally have 10 real hockey programs in our conference

were there rumblings about UNH and UML going to SCSU and MSU-M for a game at each school in one of the upcoming seasons?

It was fun for a whole lot of seasons.

Does that schedule include travel-partner series?

If so, when is the Colgate-Cornell series?

I think that leaves 1 more game.......probably will be scheduled for Portland. Plus an 1 or 2 exhibition games (at New Brunswick?).
I heard the following while at the F4:
                        @ Michigan State - Thursday/Friday (10/14 & 10/15)
                        UConn
Exhibition games against U-18 and Acadia

God, our athletic department's run by a bunch of idiots. Way to p*** away another good draw by moving a major non-conference game to Thursday, Mark!

Home football game against Illinois...With the time TBD by TV. Better to plan on a Thursday game than move to who knows what time at the last minute.

How are they going to do this with the odd number of teams? Unless they have a plan in place to add the 12th team over the summer.
