Tough weekend for Ferris to go out like that if they are indeed done. Scenario I have in Worcester:

              1. BC
              2. North Dakota
              3. Michigan
              4. Alaska

If we go out this way, it's self-inflicted.

I said it somewhere else and I'll repeat it here. We're relying on others to determine our fate after we've blown our own chances. We deserve whatever we get at this point. No whining allowed.

There are now only 32 potential outcomes of all the games. Very manageable number to crank through actually....maybe I'll start another thread....

It looks like Miami will be #1 in Fort Wayne, Denver will be #1 in Albany and Wisconsin will be #1 in St. Paul. The exception is if BC finishes #6 and both UND/SCSU go to St. Paul and Wisconsin/BC go to Worcester.

That's an awesome draw for college hockey fans, independent of your rooting interests. Those first three teams can always be counted on to bring their 'A' Games. 'Happy-to-be-there' Alaska could spoil, which is what we routinely expect in these Regionals.

I was just searching around and noticed earlier today UNH was at a 3-way tie for 13th in the Pairwise and have since noticed both Wisconsin and Miami win their respective consi games and see UNH rise in the pairwise. Isn't it funny how losing to a couple really good teams early in the season still has a positive impact now. Believe me when I say I truly love the Cats and there has been alot of high-highs and low-lows this season when I really know we here in NH knew this was a rebuilding year coming into the season.

If you check these boards I would personally like to thank you Bobby Butler and the rest of the Senior class for really stepping up this season and turning what could very well have been a sub 500 season in a strong Hockey East. It was really pleasant to take a few moments to talk to you Bobby, Paul, Nick and Blake prior to the game last Friday against Vermont at the Whitt.
