There better be a good story behind that.

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check it out if for no other reason than to cheer against Cranbrook.

Hard to lose so much but at the same time, I support the coach. I just don't see changing coaches as a solution. Putting more assets at the problem might be. Even if we got the new coach and his system, he is bound to ask for more assets.
Looking at the season, we had a few games early that goaltending cost us, then we had a few games that special teams cost us and finally we had a lot of games that defensive lapses cost us. I give the coach and the players a lot of credit, it's tough playing in this situation.
I totally agree. Coach takes a lot of heat, but I remember sitting through some awful awful games before he took over. 11-1, 12-2, 8-0, 7-0. awful. we couldn't pass the puck, let alone score. better now.
at least we are in most of our games and against very very good teams

Same but might not be! Go Northern!

              Michigan hangs on 2-1.

But NMU will still be going to a regional...why can't Tech?

With the struggle to get talent into Houghton, it's really hard to read press releases like the link below. If he put up 1.6 ppg in the WHL, you have to image he would have been a solid 40, if not 50 point guy in the WCHA.

Here is a short bit from the press release:
[Casey] entered his first year of professional hockey having come off of a banner year with the Vancouver Giants (WHL), where he posted a league-best 115 points (36+79) in 72 regular-season games. His 115 points shattered the Giants’ single-season point record, an achievement which earned him Vancouver’s first-ever recipient of the Bob Clarke Trophy awarded to the WHL’s leading scorer.
