  • Lake Placid-Who's broadcasting, and when?

I heard,(read), that the Norwich-Plattsburgh game was the late game due to broadcasting scheduling...So, are the games being broadcast? By whom? Audio only? Internet only? Out of towners would like to know.

WDEV (Waterbury, VT) said tonight that they will be broadcasting audio for the PSC - Norwich game. Don't know about overall coverage of the weekend.

Saturday Final is indeed on CBS College Sports Network...

Russell alluded to something in the works for the Friday games... perhaps he is ready to share?

How is it that Women's D3 semis are broadcast but only the Mens D3 finals? Is that Title IX at work or just a bigger audience for Women's D3 hockey?

Full Radio coverage of Norwich/Plattsburgh Friday night on the Northfield Savings Bank WDEV Norwich Hockey Network ... airtime 7:05 (assuming Oswego/St. Norbert doesn't take four overtimes to decide).

Well, since every single local playoff team - high school or college - besides Plattsburgh State men's hockey lost on Saturday, it's safe to assume both Ducky and Rob will be there to call the Plattsburgh-Norwich game for WIRY

Just be aware there are live events just before the hockey broadcast which could eat into the hockey broadcast if they go late.

At 1:00, CBS College Sports is showing the D3 Men's basketball national championship live. Then, at 3:00, they are showing the D3 Women's basketball national championship live.

Finally, at 5:00, is "our" national championship game live.

The semifinal games will be videocasted on the Net.

They will not appear on the NCAA website this year, but rather on http://www.fasthockey.com .

Thanks to the NCAA, the games will be available for free. You still have to register at fasthockey.com, but registration is free and again, the viewing of these games will be free thanks to the NCAA.

Todd Bloniarz will be doing the PbP for the third year in a row. Also, for the third year in a row, USCHO correspondents will provide color commentating. Exactly who is doing which game has not been decided, yet.
