Friar Boy was my favorite mascot, but I could not find a picture. Woof.

Mascots that look like people creep me out. Mascots should be animals or trees or food and such.

Buckeyes are edible. Not that you'd want to snack on them, but they can be eaten if prepared. And badgers eat them. Wikipedia says so.
