    You missed the point too.

Show me that LaRose is on SNC's roster. Fact right?

Are you cadets certain you shouldn't be a NESCAC school?

Just what I said. I have no other information than reading it here and hearing it from someone recently. So I asked a simple question. It wasn't a statement. Before you get too cynical and assume there is a hidden meaning, I suggest you read the statement and offer information if you have it.

I agree that the penalty minutes don't support the idea that refs have it in for Skidmore.

        Thanks.

Just ask them if he ever committed to them. He never showed and went to Nuemann. Perhaps the Norbert people could fill you in....NESCAC school? No way.

It's Neumann. No, definitely not NESCAC...

Jonathan LaRose was considered an excellent goaltender while at Amherst, however, it looking up his stats at Neumann he only played in 4 games. In thoes 4 games he had a GAA of 1.9592 and SV% og .938, good numbers. Just curious why he didn't play more. I would't bring up the subject but a number of posters made comments on the LaRose transfer.

In reference to Skidmore when they played Norwich I was very impressed with forward Alex Mykolenko from the Ukraine. He as good size and held his own with some good Norwich players.

                  Ecac East Playoffs Parking Info

For everybody who's coming, I thought I'd pass along this info that was sent to the NU Community. Since school will be in session as folks arrive for the 4:00 game tomorrow, there may be parking challenges. Be prepared for a walk.
                  NOTICE
Due to the ECAC hockey playoff games, Friday March 5 and Saturday March 6, we are expecting significant parking challenges on campus. The following are designed to accommodate as many cars as possible:

Kreitzberg Arena Lot Closed March 5 and 6, 2010.

In order to support the ECAC Hockey playoff games, Kreitzberg Arena parking lot will be closed to normal parking. We understand this action inconveniences faculty, staff and students, but feel this action is prudent to keep parking orderly for all. Please assist us in making this happen, we truly appreciate your support.

Please feel free to call security at 485-2525 for parking assistance. The west ends of Lots C and D have open parking to accommodate those displaced from the Kreitzberg Arena Lot.
For Architecture and Art students working through the night: Jackman Lot will be available following the close of business (1700) Friday afternoon. Jackman Lot must be cleared of Architecture & Art student vehicles by 0800 on March 7, 2010.

Alternate parking for the ECAC Hockey Games

Disney Field is not available for parking and student lots are at parking capacity limits. Parking on campus, particularly for the Norwich game at 4:00 pm is severely limited.

The Town of Northfield has generously lifted the parking ban to support Norwich Hockey Patrons. Central Street, both sides, is available for parking. DO NOT BLOCK RESIDENCE DRIVEWAYS!

East side of Route 12 from the intersection of Central Street to downtown is open to parking.
The base of the Norwich ski hill and the Crescent are open for parking.

Police will be directing traffic on Route 12 and numerous parking directors will assist patrons, please follow their instructions. Parking on campus is dependent on weather conditions.

These all-league teams are always a hoot.

Thomas gets Rookie of the Year but winds up on the Honorable Mention list while Forkey (also a frosh) is elected to the First-Team?

Do the coaches even pay attention to what they are doing when they cast these votes?

Another head scratcher, which I read in the article. Klinger was 1st team all star goalie for the second year in a row, and won his first goalie of the year award.

It's all an effort to have as many participants as possible.....I'm surprised that there weren't six or seven "rookies of the year" and "Goalie of the Year".

Little confused here.. According to bracketology Norwich doesn't play a quarterfinal game... how does this work exactly? Assuming 7-4: would give us:
                            E1: Norwich
                            E2: Oswego
                            E3: Middlebury
                            E4: Plattsburgh
                            E5: Bowdoin
                            E6: Elmira
                            E7: Curry

                            W1: St. Norbert
                            W2: Gustavus Adolphus
                            W3: Adrian
                            W4: St. Thomas

                            First Round:
                            Curry at Oswego
                            Elmira at Middlebury
                            Bowdoin at Plattsburgh

                            Semifinals:
                            Bowdoin/Plattsburgh at Norwich
                            Elmira/Middlebury at Oswego
                            St. Thomas at St. Norbert

He meant "quarterfinals" instead of semifinals.

You obviously can't have four semifinal games.

Coach Mike McShare was quoted as saying Norwich should of scored a couple more goals however NEC goaltender Aaron Harvey was outstanding. A lot of fans thought that Norwich scored 2 more goals the refs missed; one that came out very quickly and the other a tap in from out close that was called back in the second period. I didn't see the first one but the tap in was clearly a stick assisted goal with no Cadets in the crease. Very poor call for the ref's. It would be interesting to see the video clip of the play.
