  • Former Elmira Player Going to the Olympics

Pete Feola, former Gates-Chili, Elmira College (1991-1994), Utica Blizzard, and Muskegon Fury hockey player is going to Vancouver to work Hockey as an on ice official. He is the only non-NHL official invited from the US. From the story in the D&C sounds like he works just about any hockey games he can, doing Hockey East, AHA, ECAC, and DIII games, as well as International tournaments.

I need to apologize for not mentioning this earlier, much earlier. This was announced at either the Elmira vs Utica game or the Elmira vs Oswego game way back before the Holiday break.
Indeed and super accomplishment, Pete will do an excellent job.
