  • Matthews Arena, NY Times Article

    Don't know if this has been posted somewhere else or if it was even seen, but the NY Times did a story the other day on Matthews Arena and it's role in the development of Boston hockey.

    That's thread-worthy, right?

      Every hockey fan needs to see a game in that arena. The place oozes history and character from every rivet. In age where one arena looks and sounds pretty much like the next one, there are are only a few surviving places that truly define our collective history as a game, and Matthews Arena does it better than any other. NU has done a great job in keeping that arena relevant, when other schools might have turned their backs on the place, they have stepped up and invested it the place.
