We heard for two months how they would tank in january, ("just like they did last year") and then when they won a couple, instead of being happy, it angered people.

It's unbelievable. Are you in The Twilight Zone? Have you seen Rod Serling recently?

This team IS TANKING. Just like LAST YEAR. What the hell are you watching man? Are you even watching the games? They've won TWICE since THANKSGIVING.

Can't you recognize that? Is it that hard for you to admit it?

Two wins don't bail out their overall record and lack of performance. Just like two wins this weekend won't either.

The only laughable thing here is YOUR perspective. You celebrated liked the whole program is turning around. What was the term? "Great young talent"? And then kudos to the coach for winning a pair of games? Those 2 wins didn't "anger people" -- your reaction and total lack of perspective on the situation did. They were 2 wins in the midst of an extended losing streak that STILL hasn't ended, not the sign it's time to throw a parade and give the coach another 5 year extension.

I simply dont see any logic behind saying the same thing eevry single day 45000 times.

As I've said repeatedly to you, the conversation is a reflection of what's going on out there. If you don't like fans complaining about a team losing -- why don't YOU go follow a team that wins so you stop whining about it! Seriously. Who the hell are you to tell fans how to think and react? You don't like the talk? Great. Go away.

You're simply delusional wanting PC fans to remain positive when their league mark is 8-31-6 over the last two years.

ask Lou, Brian Burke, Ron Wilson etc.

Actually I have asked Lou what he thought.

When we ran into him in Buffalo at the Frozen Four, I asked him about PC hockey and where it was going, and he just rolled his eyes and said he "had plenty of other things to worry about."

Didn't sound to me like he cared a whole lot about where this program was going at this stage of his career -- and I'm sure all these years later that's even more the case.

Ummm, I don't remember being angry when PC won those two games.

Somehow you're able to agitate a pack of fans who remain staunchly loyal to their team in spite of its awful state. You're the guy that's able to keep them united against a common enemy.

You're a riddle wrapped in an enigma stuffed inside a puzzle.

Do the PC fanbase a favor: Go away and stop talking to them.

I am continually amazed that more people haven't hit the ignore button. Half this thread would evaporate:D

Without PC91 to balance the insanity, Hokydad is useless. I'd still like to ferment a rivalry between Hokydad and UnhCat07 because that might cause every Oxford English Dictionary in the world to spontaneously burst into flames.

You really must be Mrs. Army or Tom Army to believe that much in this guy.

Is that sexual innuendo? You might get suspended!

Hokydad's posts are like an accident on the side of the road. You probably shouldn't be looking but you can't help yourself just the same. :D

Innuendo? That's an Italian suppository.

He left me one as well. BTW what's the difference between a purple "rep" and a red one? I have a lot of purple (are they anonymous "hit and run" people?) but not much in the way of red. Lots of green thanks to the other day (thanks everybody :)

Purple means they either came from people who are in the red with their personal rep or they haven't made enough posts yet to qualify to give proper rep. If you have a blank "purple" one with no comment, it was an attempted positive rep.

So I have a bunch of rep that was green, but is now gray. Does that mean it's getting old?

BTW, I expect things to be looking up this weekend.

Gotcha, so Hokyfraud's negative shows up as purple because he's in the red himself.

Which is where he's always going to be as well!! :D

That rep was probably from the now board-forsaken PC91.

Catch your breath.... let me say it again..... He is clueless......
HM You’re trying to win a argument with a clueless individual. It’s like being drunk and trying to win a fight with an inanimate object like telephone pole. We’re obviously disappointed with the lacking success of both the program and this team. The expectation that we should just be happy with what we have is as asinine as the individual suggesting it!!

C'mon, it was BU and Maine they beat in those two games. What else do you want?
